For most Anchorage daily drivers, two full details a year plus regular maintenance washes keeps a vehicle genuinely well kept: one going into winter, one coming out of it.
Work trucks are different. Heavier interior wear, mud, gravel dust and cargo abuse mean a quarterly interior refresh usually pays for itself in resale value alone.
Weekend and summer-only vehicles need less frequent work but benefit more from protection, because they spend long stretches parked where UV and contamination do slow, quiet damage.
Whatever the vehicle, the biggest single improvement most owners can make is how it gets washed between details. A two-bucket process with a clean mitt causes a fraction of the marring that an automatic brush wash does.
